Doctor of Chiropractic trained in the United States. Founder of Elite Spine Centres and developer of the Functional Correction Method. Has led the clinic's multidisciplinary practice in Singapore since the doors first opened in 2014.
Dr. Michael Bryant received his Doctor of Chiropractic training in the United States, qualifying with the full clinical scope of practice — diagnostic imaging, neurological examination, orthopaedic assessment, and a broad range of manual therapy techniques.
He moved to Singapore and established Elite Spine Centres in 2014 with a specific aim: to build a specialist clinic for the patients other treatments had not resolved. Over the years since, the clinic has grown into a doctor-led multidisciplinary practice, with the Functional Correction Method as its signature treatment protocol.
Dr. Bryant's clinical philosophy is structural-first and integrative. Most chronic musculoskeletal pain has a structural driver — disc, joint, muscle, or postural mechanics — and most chronic pain also has a behavioural component, in the form of the daily activities and patterns that maintain it. Lasting correction requires addressing both.
He developed FCM as a way to formalise this approach into a sequenced plan that any patient could be taken through, calibrated to their specific findings. The five components — modern chiropractic, osteopathy, therapeutic technology, rehabilitative exercise, and lifestyle coaching — are individually well-evidenced. The integration is the proprietary part.
Dr. Bryant primarily treats complex and chronic musculoskeletal conditions — slipped disc, sciatica, chronic back and neck pain, frozen shoulder, scoliosis, and patients arriving after failed previous treatment. He delivers all five FCM components, with a particular focus on the structural-correction phases.
After multiple sessions, my chronic lower back discomfort, which sometimes turns into pain when I sneeze, became a lot better and I also saw improvements in my posture, flexibility, and mobility. Dr. Mike is a professional and friendly chiropractor who is very knowledgeable in how the body functions. He employs a variety of techniques to help improve my physical condition, beyond just manual adjustments.
Dr. Bryant not only has a fine pair of hands but he also took all the time to listen to the what, why and how of my numerous pain points before we got started about a month back with a customised recovery plan. I appreciate his utmost commitment to his patients.
Your first visit is a structured 45-minute assessment — full clinical history, postural and movement screening, and a clear explanation of what we find before any treatment plan is designed.
