A specialist clinic, built around a method.

Founded in 2014 by Dr. Michael Bryant, Elite Spine Centres exists for one purpose: to provide structured, doctor-led, non-surgical care for the patients other treatments have not resolved.

The story

Elite Spine Centres opened its doors in Singapore in 2014. Dr. Michael Bryant, a Doctor of Chiropractic trained in the United States, had spent the previous decade observing a pattern in his clinical practice: most patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain arrived having already tried two or three other treatments — physiotherapy, painkillers, sometimes a recommendation for surgery — and still had the pain that brought them to him.

The pattern was not that the previous treatments were wrong. It was that they were applied in isolation. A slipped disc treated with rest will sometimes recover; treated with manual therapy alone, it will often improve; treated with a combined protocol of decompression, manual therapy, and progressive exercise, it tends to resolve and stay resolved. The integration was the missing piece.

The Functional Correction Method

Out of that observation, the Functional Correction Method was developed. FCM is the integration of five independently evidence-supported modalities — modern chiropractic, osteopathy, therapeutic technology, rehabilitative exercise, and lifestyle coaching — into a single sequenced plan, calibrated to the individual patient.

It is the reason most of our patients arrive after other treatments have stopped working, and the reason most of them do not need to look further once they begin.

How we work

Every patient at Elite Spine Centres begins with a structured 45-minute clinical assessment with a doctor. The assessment covers full clinical history, postural and movement screening, neurological evaluation, and orthopaedic testing. If imaging is required to confirm the diagnosis or rule out a more serious cause, we say so and explain why.

The treatment plan that follows is presented in plain language — what we found, what is producing the pain, which modalities are clinically indicated, and a realistic timeline for measurable change. If chiropractic and rehabilitative care is not the right path for your condition, we will tell you that directly.

What sets the clinic apart

Most chiropractic clinics in Singapore are single-practitioner, single-modality practices. Elite Spine Centres is built around a doctor-led multidisciplinary team with credentials from the United States, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand — chiropractic and osteopathy under one roof — supported by patient-care managers and rehabilitative therapists with combined industry experience exceeding fifteen years.

Every treatment plan is delivered as a coordinated handover between disciplines, not a referral elsewhere. The patient does not need to navigate three different clinics to receive a coherent treatment plan — the coherence is built into how we work.

Our values

The clinic operates on three principles — compassion, integrity, and excellence — but those words appear on every healthcare website in the world. What they mean in practice at Elite Spine Centres is more specific.

Compassion means we treat patients in pain with the respect that fact deserves. We do not minimise; we do not catastrophise; we explain clearly and honestly.

Integrity means we do not extend care beyond what the patient's condition requires. We do not sell long packages where a short one would do. We tell you when our care is not the right answer for your case.

Excellence means the clinical depth, the assessment rigour, and the integration of modalities are not negotiable. The protocol is the protocol because it works — not because it is easy to deliver.
